Leadership Development

We provide executive teams with opportunities to call a “time out” to reconnect, re-energize, and, explore how the team can more effectively work together to achieve a common purpose.  While executive leadership teams aren’t much different from any other team that is trying to work together for the best interest of an organization, they do face some special challenges and pressures that can cause dysfunction that can filter throughout the organization.

Case: Department Chair Leadership Development Program for the Peabody Institute at the Johns Hopkins University

​

Purpose: Created and executed a 9 month series of workshops focused on leadership training and development in a university setting. 

​

Audience: Department Chairs, the middle managers of higher education 

​

Outcomes: 

  • Cultivated skilled leaders who were knowledgable about their roles and the institution

  • Developed skills in self-awareness and managing challenging situations

  • Developed tools for faculty relations, mentoring, hiring, evaluating faculty, and an awareness of human resources policies and employment law

  • Developed financial analysis and budgetary development skills as well as an awareness of university finances
